Hi. I have just joined. I got diagnosed with bowel cancer just over two months ago. Had operation now on my first round of chemo.
I have been feeling nauseous a lot finding it hard to keep food and tablets down.  Also now with the vomiting my chest has started hurting quite abit. Just wondering if any one else has the same and also how they dealt with it.
Thank you x

  • Hi Yellow Rose,

Have you got an emergency number to contact? They might be able to adjust your meds.

on my first round of chemo I had severe nausea (but not actually vomiting) and they gave me a 2 day break from the tablets and changed my anti sickness meds. It helped immensely.

im going through the same process: diagnosed in May, op in June, now on my second round of chemo.

hope they can adjust things to make it easier for you x

  • Hi

Definione to phone your team about . Some chemotherapy tablets can cause the heart to have a spasm so please get in touch with your team and let them check you out our phone out of hours for the area you live in .

Always best to get checked out . My mum had her dose reduced and really helped .

    Take care ,
