Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and right now I could sure use some support, guidance , experience or advice. Last week I went in for my first colonoscopy I’m 48 years old. They found a tumor 40mm in my sigmoid colon and a few spots on my liver. I had a few symptoms leading to this but none that really warranted me to go in and have it checked out. I am scared , very nauseous can’t really think clearly and am just a mess. I would love for any feedback to get me through one of the hardest times in my life.
That's how mine was discovered ,I kept getting badly constipated and sick, I had my surgery and made it through I was terrified throughout everything, but they do this often and I feel sooo much better now keep talking and ask as many questions as you can even ones you think are silly or embarrassing I promise that they are not and your drs and nurses would have heard them all before..
Keep a little note book
I wish you lots of luck and good thoughts
