Hello
After visiting my GP for noticing mucas, a change in bowel habits and then a small amount of blood I was referred to Gastro. Little did I know I was fast tracked to bowel screening. My doctor had previously suggested I may have UC but as I take Azathioprine he thought it could be accidentally treating it. Anyway I had my colonoscopy on Friday. Although all looked good and no inflammation the consultant did remove a 6mm sessile polyp and took a further 6 biopsies. I am now playing the dreading waiting game for the results. Has anyone had something similar who wouldn't mind sharing there story. I wasn't too concerned but as the days pass I feel I'm getting more worried. I'm only 1 week into the wait.
Thank you

No I’m fine honestly. I only told you to hopefully reassure you. My cancers in the bin and I feel so relieved that our NHS had me on a treatment plan and quickly.
So even if they want to investigate further try to stay positive as the bowel cancer treatment is amazing.
Hope you here soon
Ann
