Not sure what to offer at this stage! Diagnosed with colon cancer just over two months ago and beginning third two-week cycle of chemo, with surgery to follow. Very happy with advice to date ….. love your chemo, it might just save my life, and ……. Make sure you have a fuckit list, anybody or anything you could do without, just say the words  ……. sorry but I’m the priority at the moment.

  • Hi  and it’s good to hear from you. Hope you’re tolerating the chemo ok - as you say, nows the time to put yourself first x

Hi Karen. As you say "tolerating" the chemo! Now day 4 of third two week cycle and I feel really yucky this morning. Trying to keep up my normal routines, so I have a choice, back to bed and try and sleep for a couple of hours, or off to the gym which is my normal routine, but just for a shower and smoothie with friends, no exercise.  Have a good day yourself x

Hi Karen again, just got nosey and read your history, wow! How brave to keep going during all of that, and to keep up the record to the 5-year sign-off.  Brilliant and inspiring.  Thank you x
