Prep starts tomorrow afternoon and then continues Friday at 6am. Colonoscopy at 2.30. I'm trying to convince myself its just a haemorrhoid that I know is in my colon. But I can't get away from the pain in my rectum or the tiny stools I pass. God only knows.

Hi gillh33. It may or it may not be bowel cancer but the only way to find out is through the colonoscopy. Only 1 in 10 result in a positive diagnosis and there are lots of things that have similar symptoms to bowel cancer but by Friday afternoon you will hopefully know what you’re dealing with.

If it does turn out to be bowel cancer then it is very treatable nowadays especially if caught early. Stay away from google and come back here and let us know how you’ve got on?
