Hi to anyone who has gone through similar to me and my friend "Eddie Stomart"
After a shocking meeting with an Oncologist in December 2020 and a diagnosis of bowel cancer with death on the horizon, I had surgery the following February and M pleased to now it seems, be fighting fit, albeit with a much changed physiology!!!
Hi Eddiestomart - love that name - and welcome to the bowel board. Good to hear that you've recovered well from the op and back to enjoying life. There’s also a stoma board where you can share problems/experiences

Its a shock with a big op to follow but always nice to read that someone is doing well
Take care
Karen x
Thanks Karen, I'm feeling positive about the results and although the ongoing scans (colonoscopy, endoscopy, MRI and CT) are not pleasant, I look forward to them as they confirm the success of the op.
Take care
Richard
