Hi there, I'm Lou and I'm 41, just wanted to introduce myself! I have had stage 3 bowel cancer and a T4 tumor removed on the 21st Jan 2022. Was told in Feb it was cancer and unfortunately I ended up staying in hospital with infection/collection following the surgery until 21st march. Was due to start my chemo today....but have now got covid. So it's been delayed again. I should of started chemo back in Feb/march so I'm really nervous that it's spread, even though they did an amazing Job of removing the tumor and cancerous bowel. That is my very long story cut short!!
Hi
Welcome to the forum . That is so unfortunate to catch covid and delay your chemo . Unfortunately lots of things can delay chemo especially over the winter months and thankfully most go on to successfully have it complete their treatment .
Hope your not too unwell with covid and chemo gets underway soon .
