I had breast cancer a few years ago but am now classified as a 'Neddy' (no evidence of disease) . I am now here to find help for my husband who has bowel cancer. He has a large tumour which was blocking the passage of food through to the small intestine. He has been through surgery to give him a stoma and will start chemo shortly. I am sure there will be lots of questions which I hope fellow members will be able to answer.

Welcome sorry to hear about your husband but hope we can support you .
I have linked in a thread you might find handy in preparing for chemo for your husband . It is a bit different in terms of side effects in some aspects from some of the breast cancer chemotherapy as some are platinum based .
Your user name seems really familiar . Did you use the forum a lot in the past ? I have been hanging around since 2009 !
Hope we can be of some help !
