  • Hi . I’m sorry to hear about your mum. Have you thought about giving the nurses on here a ring for advice on 0808 808 00 00. They’re available 7 days a week from 8-8

    Take care

    Hi

We have a carers only forum if you feel that might help too .

Is your mum at one of the bigger teaching hospitals ? If there is any doubt she can have a second opinion . But she may feel herself that she could not undergo surgery .

    Thinking of you both .

No it was Fairfield we just got told her fitness test was not  good do she wouldn’t survive surgery she has  3 tumours one very large just sent us on our way realy with a sorry nothing  can be done we will phone you in 3 months that was that .

  • Why not have a chat with our nurses on the helpline . They know the support structures that may be available to you .

I would also maybe speak to her Gp to see if a palliative care team will be involved to make sure her meds are correct etc .

I think it’s only fair to know what happens next and how to access support .

A very difficult way to be left for sure .
