Where do I start, this is my first time on this forum...
My mum felt sick over the last two weeks, after all the tests /scans been told she has aggressive bowel cancer.. She seems very calm, I'm totally freaking out and panicking inside, but cannot show I am.... Trying to remain calm!!
I find myself unable to look her in the eye when I talk to her, this is due to a sadness that I can see in her eyes...
We are going to the hospital to discuss what happens next??! Fingers crossed....
Hi ,
Just want to welcome you to the forum .
It is very hard to see someone you love going through this however your support will mean such a lot .
Has the cancer spread ? If you click on my user name you can read my mum’s story as she navigated through a stage 4 diagnosis.
I too struggled initially and went and sought help from my GP in the early days . My mum needed me strong .
Bowel cancer does have a lot of treatment options available.
Does your mum have a treatment plan yet ?
Take care ,

Hi, thank you for your reply...
Yes it's hard to watch, especially when my mum is so strong in herself, which is good.. The cancer has spread to her liver so they are not operating, however she does start chemo in 3 weeks hopefully this will shrink the tumor enough for them to operate in 3 months time!!?..
Thankyou x
