Feeling so down today...contacted colerectal team early but will reply in one to 2 days. I am lost on what to expect

Hi Wil66 Sending you a big virtual hug. The waiting for a results is so stressful but you will honestly feel a bit better once you have a plan in place. Please give the nurses on here a ring for a chat? They’re available 7 days a week from 8-8 on 0808 808 00 00

Hopefully you have spoken to the nurses here. They were lovely when I had a stressful time. It’s reassuring to have a chat with a medic. 

Hello everyone,I was contacted by the mdt nurse today and confirmed i have rectal cancer. I was put on ct scan for this week and sigmoidoscopy? To see if it has spread and so as the surgeon will have the exact location of the tumor thru sigmoidoscopy. The nurse will arranged everything including when i will be seen by the encologist . She mentioned that in the mdt meeting it will be decided if i will have radiotherapy first or surgery?
