My husband was rushed into hospital 2 weeks ago and quickly diagnosed with late stage colon cancer. A CT scan showed this had speed to liver and Speen. We are in shock but now angry..confused since he has been prepped for a colonoscopy every day for days and then advised ...not today...how can I get more help from the colon medical team?

I have linked in a leaflet from bowel cancer U.K. which explains some of the treatment available to a patient when their cancer has spread . You also might like to click on my user name and read how my mum navigated it !
It must be very frustrating to prep for a colonoscopy but not go through with it ! Is it to obtain a biopsy ?
Once a treatment plan is formed it does help considerably and for some people it is very effective .
