Good Afternoon all
I hope you're all doing ok, can't believe we're heading into Autumn already, didn't have much of summer as I was in hospital having my liver resected.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer in September last year and it had spread to my liver, so far I've had two surgeries. One to remove half of my colon, a liver rendition, RFA and nine rounds of chemo (don't like to do things by halves :)). At the moment I'm in remission, as the last scans came back clear. So crossing fingers the next lot are the same.
Besides the big C bit I'm also registered blind and have a black lab guide dog called Flo.
So that's me
Best wishes

Welcome ,
You have been through a lot but delighted you have joined us on the forum !
Fantastic news that you have had a clear scan . Here’s to many more of them in the future!
Hope your finding the site user friendly?
Your dog sounds wonderful too! We have a black lab in the family but missed out on a lot of dog training classes due to covid so is currently getting some guidance now ! What a joy they are .
Please feel free to ask anything you like . I came here back in 2009 when my mum was diagnosed with a spread to here liver . They have taken good care of her over the years and a good robust scanning protocol has kept her well !
Take special care ,
