As it says in the title, I'm new here. My sister was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I was wondering if anyone could help with suggestions for the best foods she could eat. She has good days and bad at the moment with her stoma and has just started with Fortisip so I assume that will help!

Hi . Fortisip is a high calorie build me up drink. Is your sister struggling to put weight on or is her stoma input too high? I’ve attached a link to a booklet off the bowel cancer uk site which might help but please post again if there’s any thing specific

Hi Karen,

Thanks for your reply and the booklet. It's a bit of both really. It's only been a couple of weeks since her op so it's all new to her. She seems to just want the Fortisip and maybe a small slice of toast or cheese toasties here and there.
