Hello all, I'm gozz. I'v had bowel cancer for two years now. I have had radio therapy and intravenous chemo and am now on Lonsurf tablets . Hoping they work because I am waiting for the dancing to start up again at the end of July and that will be a big help to me . I believe the way you think and act makes a big difference to beating cancer. I have a problem with my feet and hands (side effect ) but if I can get out to dance again I won't feel it. Mind over matter really works and you do have to occupy yourself, no point in sitting worrying. Enjoy the sunshine.
Hi
Welcome to the forum . What a fantastic attitude you have . That is quite incredible to go dancing with your feet issues . Quite an inspirational read !
How are you finding lonsurf? Have you just started with them . We just to have a lady who posted as a carer on the site and her husband seemed so well with them and a year after using them was still stable . Everyone is different obviously but he seemed to do ok on them .
It took till late afternoon for the sun to break through here but I am enjoying the last few rays in the garden as I type . My sons friends who share a flat have all been contact traced so I took pity on them and baked a few treats to send over ! Now it’s just me and my book !
I am looking forward to hearing of your first dancing trip ! What a joy that will be for you .
Take care ,
Court
