    Hi Hayleyc89,

Thanks for your message, hope you and your family are well! I am doing OK, a bit a nausea her and there, get dizzy now and then. I cannot believe I am having treatment 7 on 2nd Feb22! So far therapy is keeping the spread of the cancer at bay. How is your husband doing? And how are you coping with it?

  • Glad to hear things are going well. My husband last scan in November showed stable and 1 node actually had some shrinkage so we are very pleased. He has another scan on 15th February he's so tired though he is falling asleep a lot of the time and he is really breathless when active even just walking upstairs he's breathless I am worried about him but he says it's probably just the treatment. I'm ok the children keep me very busy. Xx

Hi H, sorry to hear he us struggling with tiredness and breathing issues, I assume he is reporting these? However glad to hear the nodes are reducing. Mine are too ;) How are you though coping with your husband?

  • He isn't reporting side effects as he is so scared they will take him off treatment so he just tells them he's managing! Glad to hear you have had some shrinkage too. I'm coping ok I have returned to work which I feel I needed for my own mental health I only work part time so I'm not away from my husband long but the break does me good I just worry about him so much. He was hoping to go back to work but he's job is quite physical and the way he is feeling at the moment there's no way he can return as yet so this is bothering him quite a lot as he has been off work for 15 months now.

I don't think they will stop treatment but they can give him some support with them. His cancer nurse can help, I have a good one, they are always there when needed.

Please contact them if you're both struggling. If there is anything I can do  please let me know x

  • Hes at treatment tomorrow I am going to ask him to tell them how he is feeling x
