Hi Dolittle,
Some people have reported finding this booklet quite helpful in preparing for a consultation.
Great news it is operable and hopefully others with direct experience can contribute their experiences.
Take care ,

Hi Dolittle and a warm welcome to the board from me. There are different combinations of treatment depending on where the tumour is sited and whether there is any spread? I’ve attached a link to a booklet off the Bowel Cancer UK site which talks about staging, treatment etc. but also has some suggestions for questions to ask on page 9. There will be a lot to take in so take a pen and paper and try and jot things down - I had another little meeting straight after with my colorectal support nurse so she could check I understood everything.
Hope everything goes ok. In the meantime stay away from google and if you’ve anything you want to ask after reading the booklets then please do - everyone on the board will be happy to help you through this.
Take care
Karen x
