Hi has anyone had chemo with oxaliplatin snd raltitrexed for bowel cancer
Hi again sorry only just getting back to you, my husband had to have Raltitrexed as he had rare reaction to capecitabine it caused vasospasms... he was ok originally on this chemo but then he developed some problems, again rare...so don’t be put off...he has a kidney condition and it complicates things...and somehow he just seems to get the “rare” side effects...just his body....please don’t be put off....but he also seems to get good results..
my best wishes to your husband please keep posting let us know how he goes on....
by the way the raltitrexed infusion only takes about 30 mins ...xx
