Hi ‍♀️ newbie of small intestine GIST. Bras & Clothing advice .

Hi ♀️

I had major surgery for removal of GIST tumour resection of small intestine along with gall bladder removed in November 2020.

As a result i have full length abdominal scar

Which i am finding it difficult to wear my usual bras , pull on type . We ve actually cut out a section of the front band so it doesnt catch on top of scar. Plus clothes are aggravating the scar

Any advice re clothing , bras please.

I can only tell you some of the things we did for my mum . At one point she used maternity clothes for comfort over the scar and the bras ! Just for the design in certain places have more space . I also ordered her bra adjusters so they were not so tight and got a padded dressing from the nurses for a wee while .
