Trixiebelle10 first of all I am sorry you are going through this. Cancer sucks! I have stage 3 Anal Cancer. When you say no surgery does that mean no treatment either?

I have had radiotherapy but have been told that I cannot have chemotherapy as I have other serious illnesses and they say my body would not cope with it.
sorry to hear that you have stage 3 Anal Cancer. Hope you are having or have had treatment

Hi Trixiebelle10. I have just finished chemo/radiotherapy for rectal cancer. Why are  they saying you can’t have surgery?

  • Hope you get a great response

Has your team mentioned Papillion therapy ? I see people sometimes refer to it .

    Take care ,

I am so sorry to hear that. My dads family all suffered from it so I really feel for you as I know what it’s like living with it. Therefore the Papillon therapy that Court has mentioned might be an option for you. I am in touch with a lady from Bowel cancer group on Facebook and she, like you, is unable to have surgery and her body wouldn’t take the chemo, so she is waiting to try Papillon therapy. I believe it has really good results.

I really hope this is something you feel you can discuss with your oncologist. Take care xx
