Think I'm in shock. Hi

Hi new to cancer feel I have let my loved ones down as I know I'm not going to be here for moments in there life I should. Is anger a stage I'm feeling I think I'm shock. I feel helpless and not in control. I know I'm strong but I feel like I'm fighting a loosing battle which I am. I want to make it as easy as possible for my family.

Hi and a warm welcome to the board from me. Yes you will feel in shock and a whole lot of other emotions too but please don’t feel like you’ve let anyone down. Bowel Cancer is very treatable nowadays but there is no specific proven known cause so you can’t blame your self for your diagnosis. Yes you will feel helpless and not in control but you need to put your trust in the medical team who are in control and help yourself by staying as fit and strong as you can to get through the treatment that they will offer you.

Can you tell us a bit about what tests and meetings you’ve had so far?
