Hi Cskitt, I had the same diagnosis last January and my doctor put me on the fast track. The original diagnosis of my life span was not encouraging to say the least. However I think my choice of which way round that I had the treatment is having some effect. Because probably like you my pain and difficulty in passing a motion was more paramount than the liver legions I opted for the radiotherapy treatment first and so far I think I made the right choice. So after having it in March I am now passing small soft stools with no pain. I do wish however that they would have told me about the incontinence first. I did have to wear Men’s sanitary trunks and used about 6 a day but they did give me some sort of freedom. My doctor did give me some tablets to slow my motions down. I have another CT scan next month and hope to start my chemotherapy after that but all in all I feel a lot better still a bit lethargic but I take one day at a time. I will enclose a picture of the radiotherapy equipment that they used on me, this comes out and passes around your body. I am told that they cost £1million each and that there’s only 12 in the UK.
I do wish you all the very best for the future. With regard to the liver treatment at best the chemotherapy treatment will cure it. If not the liver can be scraped being the only organ in your body that will regrow
