my husband had a bowel cancer diagnoses last week but everything feels like it’s taking ages to progress
no scan for another two weeks and appointment with surgeon in 4 weeks which I’m sure is normal but we are finding the waiting impossible
Letter from hospital says ‘At 45cm in the proximal there is a 5cm circumferencial’ but we have no point of reference as to what this means in real life
does anyone have experience getting treatment through aviva healthcare rather than NHS Scotland?
with two young kids at home, I can’t imagine how we can get through the next 4 weeks of worry while pretending everything is normal
not sure what I’m looking for really. Maybe just some words of wisdom from anyone else who’s been in this situation
