Hi Twirly You may well have a loop ileostomy whereby you have an active stoma then a second one underneath that is dormant. If your bag gets really full then some of your output can get into the dormant stoma and work its way out the old way. There’s a similar post below

Yes, I think so. I had an enema a few months ago and it was all passed rectally, nothing in the bag at all. Everything looked clean at the point of having the colonoscopy but then I passed more stools rectally about 12 hours later. I'm guessing that it was stool that had been trapped in the bowel prior to the operation to form the stoma as I couldn't keep the bowel prep down for a proper clear out then.
All OK since and stoma working normally.
