Feel absolutely emotional. I’ve been great had my 5 weeks chemo radiation no problems there. Started folfox Tuesday and last two days feel absolutely emotional. Not anxious, not particularly nauseated, but so emotional I’m trying to continue as normal but I’m just frustrated. I think I maybe feeling fatigued as I feel like I’m in a bubble and maybe that’s what is causing my waves of emotions. I’m a stubborn individual who just wants to continue as normal but just feel lost and frustrated as physically I’m not feeling ill. Sorry more of a rant here than looking for answers.

  • So sorry to hear this.  This chemo malarkey certainly throws some curve balls. Fingers crossedfor an early scan x

  • I’m pleased they’re taking it seriously and will now find the answers to help him x

  • They admitted him at 6 pm he has urine build up which they found on his scan. No idea how they will treat it. Hope you get your treatment soon xx

  • Oh dear poor Simon and worrying times for you too. I hope they sort it quickly. I got a call for a scan today I have a clot so 6 months of anticoagulants and waiting for someone to make a decision regards my chemo now as can’t use existing line but nobody appears to want to make that decision. I can’t be the only person that this has happened too Shrug‍♀️

  • Oh dear a worrying time people think everything goes to plan but it's not always the case hope they get you sorted soon.

It's a year since Simon's first Dr appointment. Don't know what they will do for him today but at least he isn't suffering at home they can give him the pain relief he needs

  • How are you today hope they are sorting your arm out

Simon is a bit better today might be coming home tomorrow

Stay strong we will all get through this xx

  • I’ve heard that the line has moved also. Can’t put a new one in until this one can be removed but unsure when they can remove it as don’t want to disturb clot. Got an apt tomorrow with oncologist so hopefully will get more answers tomorrow. Good news about Simon I hope he’s feeling more comfortable now x

  • Good luck for tomorrow stay positive if you can thinking of you sending hugs xx

  • Simon is back in hospital he has an infection somewhere they have put him a catheter in now he is having oramorph every 2 hours he's really not well he had some blood from his back passage earlier. It's 7 weeks since his operation.

Hope you have had some good news xx
