Hi all
My wife was diagnosed with bowel cancer in October and had a bowel resection early December to remove the cancer, which was successful.
She had he first surveillance blood test yesterday and it has had it come back showing Eosinophils at 1.18, which I've read is high.
Could someone put my mind at rest as what I'm reading online (yes I've gone down that rabbit hole) is worrying me and the feeling of worry I had when she was diagnosed has returned!
Has anyone any advice to what this could mean please?
Thank you so much in advance.
yes, apparently high but not critically so.
Usually they would they do to say if something is a matter of concern: I've only had 2 CEA tests post my op last July but with those they wrote to tell me the result and also that they were normal.
But if you are worried there's no harm in asking.
