My Dad has recently been told he has bowel and rectal cancer. He had a colonoscopy and due to have a CT, virtual colonoscopy and MRI this week.
He’s been really struggling with his bowels and suffering some sickness.
He’s really worrying is there anything we can do help him with his bowels?
or does he have to await until have the full picture of what’s going on?
Yes! I understand this and he has mentioned to the CNS he is under but they aren’t doing anything for him just wanting his scans done to find out..
But I think they need todo something as he’s struggling to leave the house already only got told on 22.02 he has bowel cancer :(
Hi Bxz07 It’s often recommended to follow a low fibre diet as that is easier on the bowel. I’ve attached a link to a post with a few ideas but it’s very ‘beige food’.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
