Cancer taken out but then I had the full right outside the hospital after appointment as it was a long long wait I'm now back on chemo to shrink it again and they found a small dot on my lung which has scared me I'm hoping it goes away because I said about it in this at the start but they said there was nothing to worry about I have a PET scan loads of them so I think not just to shrink the cancer but also to get rid of whatever is on my lung I've been back on chemo now for two weeks going back on on and six this month and then another one after that I've just had a call to say I have to have a PET scan in Denmark hill in London and it's scaring the life out of me say can't do the scan where I live even though where I go for chemo they've got PET scan their but it's different to the one I have to have it looks at all your organs has anybody had to have this it just seems a long long road before I know anything one up two down this is how it seems to be if anybody's getting it by us I'd love to hear because I just sit here I want to what's going on I really didn't want to go back to Denmark hill as this is where my boy of 22 passed away in 2020 the fifth of march and I haven't been back there since I wanted me to go soon but I'm on chemo so they're booking it for the end of the month that's without all the rest oncology CT scan and all the rest and have all the side effects as well sorry for the rant but it's getting hard thank you
Hi Remembering
Firstly can I how sad I am to read about your son passing . No time at all for a mother and close to the anniversary too .
My mum had a lung nodule . I always think they like a full body scan when they were collecting all the info for mdt and seeing if it is anything they need to act on with the lung . They were able to take my mums out by keywhole surgery for her lung and it really was the easiest of surgeries for her . Home two days later with a small two inch scar under her arm on her bra line . Two weeks later you would not have know she had surgery .
But I always saw it as a sign things were moving forward . They like recent scans up in theatre I am lead to believe .
I will be thinking of you tomorrow.
take special care ,

Thank you so very much I really appreciate it as even though I was diagnosed last night it took 9 tents for the doctor to send me for a dynamic test with just seems like every day is something else and dealing with it is hard with everything else going on thank you for your guidance and reassuring message thank you said I just can't wait until those take this cancer out of me at least I'll have a bit of hope .
