Para aortic lymph nodes x 2

Welcome to the forum . Have you asked if there is a surgical solution to the nodes . My mum has had some further up at the mediastinal area . They have been well managed with a targeted agent and seem to have receded . 
They certainly have not caused problems since first popping up 18 months ago .

I do think I might have read of surgical solutions for your area in the past . Also might be worthwhile asking about radiologist reviewing the scans too .

Don’t be afraid to ask for second opinions . Some other specialists may have more information.

Have you joined bowel cancer U.K. FB group ? They have lots of information on who to consult with .

Getting information is really important when dealing with any potential spread .

I assume your primary tumour was removed .

Many thinks can cause CEA spikes but you do want to know what’s causing it .
