Hi all,
its been a rough time for my wife over the last six months!!
Every thing was fine until I started vomiting was rushed to hospital and they said I has a blockage thats was caused by. the cancer and together with sepsis was not a pleasant time.
The bottom line is they sent me home together with palliative care and a pile of drugs.
Ive since had shingles and currently Bells Palsy.....
I can only eat soft foods (when I feel like ite it?)
I know the end is coming but Im sure the drugs I have dont make me feel better and im think of cutting some of them out?and dee what happens? BTW 28 tabs a day!!!
Im on course no. 3 for urine infection.....
Ive had a great life just a shame its ending like this? Still,I got this far at 70 yrs!!!
My wife of 49 years has been brilliant and I would have been gone ages without her.
Hi Terry. Sending you a big hug (hope your wife doesn’t mind) You've really been through it the last few years and my heart goes out to you. Your opening line just shows what a top bloke you are - thinking about your wife when you’ve got all the other stuff going on - life is just not fair.
I hope you’re not in pain and I’m sorry but I’m a bit lost for words now………

Hi Terry!
Just read your post. Sending big hugs to you and your wife. Just lost my lovely husband in June this year he too went through sepsis-4 times! It was on the 4th bout along with the advancing cancer that took him. I have an idea what your wife is going through and bless her. My husband and I were together for 40 years and everyday he used to tell me how much he appreciated what I was doing for him when he was really sick. He fought bowel cancer for almost 2 years and he took everything they could throw at him but he just gave up in the end. My love and best wishes to you both.

Hi slash1953
You’ve had a rotten time of it. I was blocked once and oh my goodness I was in a terrible state. Then you had sepsis!
You make light of it but it’s a lot to process
I’m close with my hubby and it’s amazing and precious, we both have medical issues. . I’m so sorry this has happened and hope that you two can have some precious time together. The meds just need to ease the pain but allow you to be with your wife
sending you a hug
Ann
