Welcome August and I sincerely hope you are much drier than July !
Made some Rhubarb and ginger jam as it seems to like wet conditions !
Thanks as ever to my trusted friend Gemmary for reminding me we are in August .
I do hope you are managing to cope with such damp conditions .
Mum doing well on treatment. Just hope it’s still doing it’s job .
Take care ,

As you like butterflies so much is the blue butterfly called Brown Argus. They’re really tiny, and only give away their “blue” pedigree on the underside of their wings. Also a Chalkhill Blue ‘cos they are so pretty, despite their favoured snack. (Please don’t ask!)
First session with the Linear Accelerator ticked off. It takes three professionals to drive it plus a brainy physicist apparently analysing the CT images in real time to keep the treatment on track. Locally there are 6 of these amazing machines. Feel very fortunate and was calmly able to manage my breathing.
Never seen anything like that up here Wellspring
They are stunning . I showed them to my husband . He thought they were amazing too.
I can only imagine what they eat ! Yikes .
Have a great day .

seaspirit44 Oh, he looks like he's about to get up to mischief!
Getting the calories into mum on her holidays . We are such a lovely family we also use the time to address a few issues like bedtime routine and turns out going to bed before 1 o’clock in the morning is doing her the world of good and slowly increasing her steps.
My dad was given a knitted muff in hospital with bells and ribbons that he could get comfort from with his dementia. I was really taken that someone took the time to do this . So we have broadened that out and got mum , myself and sister knitting for charity .
Some of our holiday creations .
These are the some of the children’s ones ready to donate . I really think it’s helped with her fine finger movement which has been impaired with the neuropathy.
Weather has been wonderful and mum was only sad that her feet are affected by the treatment so no paddling in the water .
Have a great day and let us see what you are getting up to despite it all !
All are welcome to contribute .
