Hi everyone
I'm Steph from the Community team
Here is a new thread for carers, family and friends. This is a space for you to chat, share experiences and support each other through issues related to your loved ones bowel cancer. The previous thread will shortly be locked as it was getting rather long which can make it difficult to navigate.
Please remember that we also have other dedicated spaces on the Community for carers, family and friends. These spaces exist so you can support each other away from members of the forum who might be dealing with their own cancer diagnosis:
Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum
You would be welcome to set up another new thread like this in one of the above forums. Please just let us know if you would like any help?
We hope you will continue to find lots of support from each other and the Community. We're here to help, so please do let us know if you have any questions or support needs by emailing us at community@macmillan.org.uk
Well just been to see the nurse and have a chest infection. Les tablets still not sorted out.
hope all are okay and coping xx
Good Insulation! . Think that's the least of your worries just now wearing `dirty drawers`
It was the least of my drawers lol. At least they are clean now. lol xx
Bless you hope your feeling a little better today xx
Jkee only started antibiotics last night so still feel crappy. Can’t believe how low I feel. Les could not have had chemo Tuesday as neutrophils nearly non existent but the hospital pharmacy still have not rung with the medicine as they did not have it in. This is more than a rollercoaster. How are you coping xx
Let's hope the antibiotics kick in soon what a week you have had next week can only get better we have been had his bloods taken today results next week yesterday was not good but today we have a bit of sun so I feel less snappy lol Looked at weather for the rest of week not good oh how I wish I can go get some sunshine and a holiday sending hugs to all x
Jkee I feel the same. Ectopics are back with a vengeance unfortunately. It makes you feel better when the sun is shining. Garage has been started and lots of crap being taken away. Hopefully it will be finished in about 2 weeks. Green house needs to be moved but that is full of electrical stuff. Trying not to look out the back as it makes me so anxious. His compost heap was huge and the year before last he fell in it and we could not find him, but he has decided it can go so the greenhouse can be moved to the back of the garage. I will post a pic and you will see the actual mess. Tidy head, tidy mind. I have never seen such stuff. There is an old table broken but said he will fix it to use as a bench (bearing in mind there is 3 tables outside under cover). Just keeping him happy so letting him do as he wants. Xx
