Wondering if any one else has had experience of being out of breath when walking, going up stairs, getting dressed.
Im 5 weeks post surgery and was feeling great but im now so tired and achey i cant be bothered doing anything. I get bad wind after eating and ferl nauseus several times a day. I chew slowly and take my time but nothing is helping.
Anyone else had these symptoms. Im fed up!!
Hi Runnercath71 I was told I should be feeling much better by 5 weeks so might be worth talking to someone about this? Was your breathing and fitness ok before your op? I developed pulmonary embolism (lung clots) after one of my hospital stays and was out of breath going upstairs and even brushing my teeth. Hopefully this won’t be the case for you but might be worth ringing your doctor or going to a & E if you’re concerned?
Please let us know how you get on?
Take care
Karen x
Thanks for reply.
Yes, feeling fit amd healthy prior to op.
Will call doc
Sorry to say this, but might be worth a covid test? (((Hugs))) anyhow Runnercath71
Well that's good news, just mentioned as that is my main symptom of long covid, with fatigue. All the best, Runnercath71
