The results of Simons heart scan was he has a enlarged aorta did not see that coming will do another scan tomorrow to see how big I really thought it was chemo tablet. In the meantime my son who lives away on his own been have flutters and pain in chest I have been saying it is stress from work and worrying about dad in is his hospital abnormal e c g and a cardiologist is coming to see him why is this happening I want to be with my son he live 100 miles away poor Simon in hospital 26 miles away not seen him all week.
Oh Jkee I am so sorry to hear this . However I am also delighted you acted , got him the help he needs at this point in time . You did a wonderful but difficult job of advocating and he will now get the right intervention. It’s something that runs in my mum’s side of the family and one relative is monitored for . Detecting it now is so important .
But I hear what you are saying about the shock element and particularly with your son having an issue . Sounds as though his team are thorough and hopefully it will be something easily resolved .
I am hear for you as this is such a lot and you just can’t be in two places at once . Does your son have a support network around him ?
Thinking of you .

Hi court no unfortunately my son has no support he lives in Stratford upon Avon with his job just moved he drove himself to Birmingham in pain local hospital had no a&e I was just on phone reassuring him but broken inside.nothing I could do being so far away. They think it is wolff parkinson white syndrome sent home with monitor.Really feel flat Simon had full scan tonight they will look at the enlarged aorta tomorrow thought we were dealing with cancer now this my head is exploding
Oh Jkee I am so sorry to hear that!! Oh wow! but as court has said great you got him seen to and hopefully he will now get the appropriate treatment and your son too my goodness! I thought I had a lot going on. I get your issue with the hospital distance. We live in Glasgow on the southside but most of the hospitals we need to go to are the other side of the city and a bit of a faff to get to if you don't have your own transport. I don't drive so it would need to be taxis for me. Goodness what you must be going through considering too that your son is a distance away from you. Sending you the biggest virtual hug. Take Care of yourself.
