Hi,
Just wondering how people find mornings, I am struggling emotionally and find I feel so much worse in the mornings. Wondered if anyone else finds that?
During my original cancer I ticked of boxes for the days and it ran as well as it could. Surgery and Chemo weren't too bad.
This time things are more complic, my surgery was life changing and complicated and chemo has been a 6 month slog.
I find mornings a challenge while most afternoons I'm sleeping as the chemo is brutal. I am a lot more emotional about it second time round.
Hi RL2374
Have you heard of the HOPE Programme - i think it stemed from a joint venture between Macmillan and Coventry university.
It is an online set of sessions with lots of good wellbeing advice and tools. One tool is about goal setting - i wonder if that could help you in the mornings?

Thank you everyone.
No I haven't heard of Hope Programme, I will give that a Google now x
I think this is the link: https://www.h4c.org.uk/

These are aummary of the things the course covers

Owl or early bird
That’s what we are.
Early birds jump out of bed. Night owls can’t get up in the morning but are wide awake night times
It’s so interesting how we all function
My daughter is an early bird, her partner is a night owl. They meet perfectly in the middle
Maybe we have that ingrained.
Im sad at night but take a sleep aid now.
Mornings I’m great.
I wonder if we can decide what we are?
Night Owls or Early Birds?
Ann
