This is my 2 sisters and myself at my son's recent wedding, the one in the middle had come over from Barcelona, I'm the one on the right, it was a wonderful day, they got me through a very emotional day, my diagnosis was confirmed 2 days before.
Pretty good really, finally have the squatters eviction date, 6th July, I remembered most of the questions I wanted to ask, it appears they've found it early thanks to the FIT test and it is small, no onvious spread, the consultant says they are going g for curative treatment, hopefully no stoma but obviously it depends what happens during surgery.
Have to go back tomorrow for pre op tests, have also agreed to participate in a research study looking at mutations in the genetic code of cancerous cells. We have quite a history of bowel cancer in my family my dad, both my grandmas plus others so had quite a discussion relating to possible genetic factors, more on that once they have the little blighted out.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
