what a brilliant idea growing micro greens  wish I’d thought of that although my cat would have got to them. I can’t leave anything green near him. Your therapy car looks adorable. My cat Hugo cuddles us when we are sick. He doesn’t apart from then He seems to know

Enjoy your cuddles good luck with the Chemo

  • Relaxing by the pool and just happened to read Sky news on a clinical trial (small) for locally advanced rectal cancer being treated with a new immunotherapy drug where ever participating has had it completely resolved ! They are not calling it a cure yet but it’s definitely the best of news ! Now back to watching the sea .
Sloan Kettering I think Dr Dias if anyone wants to read more .

PS bit more digging and it’s for MSI patients who are responsive to immunotherapy. This is still good news in my book having watched them for over ten years with limited options .

Guess that’s why the research is coming through for this group .  Let’s hope it will continue to turn things around . Possibly one cell group at a time .

Absolutely, my cat Matilda eats greens too, and also the slugs and snails would have a field day. However the trays I bought actually have clear domed lids so it’s like a mini green house. I’m growing a mix of all the brassicas. Cats are wonderful therapists. Matty I am sure was trying to tell me I had colon cancer. For about 7 months before my diagnosis she started behaving  really oddly. The bizarre thing was she kept overgrooming a large area of fur on the left leg near her bottom. So after several veterinary visits and many steroid injections and antihistamine treatments the vet could not explain her bald spot. Since I have had my tumour removed she has stopped this overgrooming and her fur has grown back. Co-incidence or what???

  • Irene what a wonderful story. Thanks.
Hugo has cuddled each of us prior to being diagnosed with something. He’s ten now and not a lap cat. But he knows. He sits with my husband as he’s got lots going on. He sat with me before my cancer diagnosis and my daughter before she was taken in to hospital. It’s no coincidence some cats have that sense. They’re superior sense picks it up.
I will look up those growing containers it’s a great idea. I will share it with Hugo

Hi Artsie Ann, These are the ones I got from Amazon but notice they are currently unavailable from this particular supplier. However I am sure they are available elsewhere. They come in a 2 pack. I can highly recommend them. I soak the seeds first. Best to put them on the tray a week apart for a continuous supply of these nutrient dense goodiesBlush Ixxx

  • Thanks so much Irene. I will source them later and follow your tips

Back from 1st chemo session yesterday after and therapy cat Matilda clung to me evening and all night. She is now resting after a long night of purring.

  • Finally got a picture of my dog roses!
