Welcome to June ! We have arrived in summer .

Hope you all have an enjoyable bank holiday weekend and those on chemo manage to keep the side effects at bay . We are thinking of you all .

Should be an interesting photo month with gardens and day trips ahead .

Take care ,

  • Hi there June and all here

I am excited because on the 20th of this month I am going to Ireland to see my Grandchildren that I haven’t hugged since 2019. They were 3&4 now they will be 6&7

Covid has been cruel, cancer challenging for me, Parkinson’s for my husband has been exercise for us both and all the other traumas that I won’t mention.
The important thing is I will hug them both and play with them

    Yippee for June.

Oh and it’s their birthdays two days apart so there’ll be parties and my brother is flying in from Spain and staying with us all.
He’s just got prostate diagnosis back so we are all making the most of every minute

It’s time to enjoy seeing and being there

  • So pleased for you  . I remember during covid you mention how you could not get to see your precious grandchildren. I hope you enjoy every minute and get to spoil them silly with your love .

So grateful the worst of covid is over and we can move on with life .

I am away this week on a family holiday . Don’t think I will se around much .

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and take special care .

  • Hi Court

Thank you for your lovely comments.
It’s true that we now can try and get back to the way things were. But I think this time around we will all appreciate what we have missed

I hope that you have a lovely time on holiday

Thanks for all you do here.

  • Hi Ann

I’m delighted that your visit to Ireland is finally happening and you will get to cuddle your grandchildren at last. Covid was such a cruel blow to us with cancer, cutting us off from our families when we needed them more than ever. I didn’t see my daughters for more than a year, until a surprise visit last summer with their partners for a weekend made me literally cry tears of joy.

We appreciate these things more than ever in these times, and the memories are priceless. I hope you will have the most wonderful time with your family and enjoy every precious moment.

  • I am currently celebrating my birthday isolating with Covid. Fortunately , thanks to the 4th jab and my homeopathic pills it hasn’t been too bad, and I’m still able to enjoy cards presents and messages. I am resting up as much as I can, as we go on holiday on June 18th straight after a concert in which I am singing 2 solos. Have to be fit for that!

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Happy birthday . Everything crossed for a quick recovery x
