Hi everyone.
I recently asked for my TNM stage as I wasn’t given it at diagnosis & didn’t really think too much about it. Just wanted to get on with treatment.
I was given it last week as ypT3 N0 Mx … Could someone explain a little about this staging? I believe it means stage 2? Has anyone else out there had the same TNM stage?
Adam
Hi Adam R
This Macmillan leaflet gives you lots of information on staging . I think you are correct . It looks like stage 2 , curative . So that’s a big positive .
I will leave others to address the same staging aspect as I can’t help in that area .
Hope you are doing ok ?
Take care ,

Hi Adam R . Court has sent a really good link but yes, it’s stage 2. yp means the staging is from a pathology report rather than scans, N0 means no cancer detected in lymph nodes and Mx means no spread to other organs. It’s a good result My friend was stage 2 and just celebrated 5 years clear
