Can anyone give me some advice on how to cope particularly with feeling nauseous and vomiting all the time.Really getting me down.
Thanks
Hi babs
what chemo are you on ?
If I/V. Are giving you anti emetics prior to infusion such as dex and granesetron ?
At home do you have maxolon , stemetil and/ or ondansetron ? All can be very helpful
I was on oral capecitabine lasted 5 days couldn’t do it. This week I started on 5FU/LV and they loaded me up prior to infusion. It’s only week 1 but worked A dream
Soeak to your chemo team …. I hope it settles for you. It’s the worst feeling
Hi . I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling but well done on finishing the chemoradiotherapy. I’ve heard people say that the side effects have continued for a couple of weeks after stopping but then eased. Could you ring your colorectal support nurse and see if there’s a better antisickness that they can give you?
Take care
