Yakult type drinks? Yes or no?

Anyone know if these probiotic drinks are OK during chemo for bowel cancer? My husband has ongoing tummy aches and churning sensations that we think is the CAPOX upsetting the good bacteria in his bowel, so wondered if taking these sorts of probiotics would be a benefit? 

  • hi it's a tricky one this as it's probably personal to each individual,  I am currently on CAPOX and I have a five berry smoothie made with Kefir milk every morning and I think it is helping with keeping the gut immunity healthy, and I am sure it can't do any harm and my Oncologist thought it was ok to use, wishing your husband well with his treatment, take care cheers john.xxx
