Bowel cancer spread to para aortic lymph nodes

Hayleyc89, I'm on Cetuximab. No idea if it's similar or completely different from the nivolumab that your husband is having. Side effects for me include a mouth full of painful ulcers and an acne like itchy rash all over my back, chest, and head. Not much fun but if it works i'll take it lol!

Thanks Court, I’ll certainly keep you in mind, you always seem to know the right thing to say. I’m sure my brain is being kind to me, by filtering away all the bad thoughts I really don’t want to deal with right now, I call it a box in the corner, only to be opened when ready. 
There’s probably some name for it….

Hi Hayleyc89, my scan went well thanks! I've been told I've had a good response from the chemo/immunotherapy which is great news. My oncologist thinks that surgery may now be a possibility. I'm trying not to get too excited until the surgeons actually agree as they said surgery was completely off the table for me when they put me on the palliative pathway. It has given me a much needed boost tho especially as the chemo side effects are really starting to get me down! 

How is your husband doing? Is he tolerating the immunotherapy drugs ok?

Wow fantastic news I'm so please for you. He's doing well thank you he's coping with the treatment only side effects is the fatigue he has he's 4th round this week.
