Struggling with chronic acid reflux and sickness

Hello. I’m in round 3 of chemo and this time the side effects are constant sickness, despite taking anti sickness tablets, and horrific acid reflux that wakes me up, makes me sick, hurts my nose and throat ... they have upped omeprazoke to 80g a day but to no avail .... any advise .... Hi Amanda,

Oh I feel for you! The only advice I have is for night time, which is adding an extra pillow so your head is elevated more than normal. I’ve found this has helped my acid reflux a bit.

I hope it subsided for you real soon!!

Thankyou Suzy, I’m already sat up like An Egyptian mummy ... tried a new tactic today, spread omoprozol out during the day, had them ages before food, been more diligennt with trying to eat and having evening meal much earlier than normal .... we’ll see. Fingers crossed.
