I dont post too often now, but when im a bit scared I look for positive stories, hopefully mine will rub balm on someones fear, or sore feet, or painful arm or sore tongue, or tingling eyeballs or horrible sickly stomach.
Stage 3a 3 years and seven months ago, surgery, CAPOX, anti depressants and counselling, bloods now A1, CT scan clear, normal colonoscopy yesterday and there is talk of discharging me altogether with further surveillance not required.
It can be done you see, and remember, its your journey, do what you think is best for you and the squeaky wheel ALWAYS gets oiled first

"It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.
Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity: For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen, And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears."
Hello Dom. Always great to see your name pop up and what a fantastic post ! I can’t believe it’s three years ago already . You used to keep us all going in a good direction .
A possible discharge too!
Wee mum is still on the roll but she did graduate to yearly scans so that’s a good step after 12 years !
Hope the family is well too.
Take care.
