Well good news for me, I am able to pass stools allbeit small soft and formed without discomfort. It seems like the radiotherapy has worked.
Now lets see, if and when I get it the Chemo can do in the hope that it will put my body back to normal. I have from the start being telling myself it will not beat me, I'm in control !!!!
Be positive people we can win. Besides I need to live until I am 109 just so I can get back all that I've paid in
That is excellent news! Since my op in January, stools have become very important lol. I try to remain positive as well, as this is the person I am, before my diagnosis on Xmas eve last year! I have taken up brisk walking every day, which I find really helps keep my bowels regular. I love walking now and feel weird if I don't get my walk in every day.
All the best to you, take care!
Hi Rose it’s funny how we take the little things for granted but walking is good by having a dog I have to walk twice a day. I dropped a lot of fibres food from my diet in favour of starchy food for me it is working as I believe it gave my bowls time to start forming my stools again and to pass them without pain. I haven’t had a op just radiotherapy so far as the tumour was in the bottom (excuse the pun) of my large bowl. Hopefully starting chemotherapy next month. You take care Rose and listen to your body
sounding very good news !
