Hi all. Firstly well done Adam r. A month ago I had my first year all clear which obviously I am very grateful for however I now have the bag but also have to wear a nappy. The side effects of chemo, radiotherapy and the op have taken its toll with energy, stamina and personal well being even self worth as I am no longer able to be the active person I was and it's hard to cope with but I won't give in. I live in South Africa now, have done for seven years and although the treatment is excellent they are generally not very good at explaining the process, basically I find out as it happens. A little example is I went for a routine checkup to find out it was tests to see if I was clear not a pleasant process. I write this in part to get it off my chest but also to maybe educate for what might happen in the future and to be prepared
