Hi Cranagh,
Well done indeed for taking steps & realising that tablets aren’t an end solution. That in itself is such a positive step!
I suffer a bit of anxiety (I also have a phobia of the blood pressure / pulse machine the medical staff need to do the obs with! So you can IMAGINE the results all over the place!) One nurse actuallsaid she would wheel the machine out of the room so I didn’t have to look at it (which was very kind!) & I suggested I do a wee meditation to try & get the numbers down (because they were too high t
proceed! I hate to see that machine coming & im sure they’re non too thrilled to see me too!
Think I have that ‘white coat syndrome’ (as they call it!)
I try some eft (tapping)
Meditation
& lots of reiki! (You can receive this now without having to actually BE there as Distance Reiki)
I also wear certain crystals in a wee pouch around my neck & they also seem to help! I realise this might sound a bit WooWoo to some people but I find these things do work die me & MAY be an idea whst waiting for conventional medical help

There are some great videos on YouTube for tapping & meditations... You can even search cancer meditation & lots pop up :-)
There are also guided self reiki meditations on YouTube which I find very good..
You can also find reiki practitioners on google or facebook

Hi Cranagh I kept googling .I think I’m looking for reassurance, unfortunately it’s made me worse. I was on diazepam only a low dose for 6 months, but I had to taper off them because you need higher doses to get the same effect. I am on a antidepressant but still suffer from anxiety. In lockdown it’s hard to get the distractions that we need. What Court says about the help line I have spoken to them a lot. I don’t know about you but I didn’t know the mental effect that cancer has on some people.I read Suzy Su ‘s post to you, there are a lot of meditations on you tube. I’ve put my earphones in and fell asleep and sometimes wake to chattering in my ear but not the original one I started out with, never got to the end of one.I sending hugs x
