I have had surgery to remove a large Are if my bowel and on Monday I started Chem......IV Monday filled by chemo tablets...4 rou ds over 3 months.
I have bee. Told I shouldn't lose my hair but it could change the texture and thin. I wondered if there is anyone going through the same that could advise me the best way forward. I have bought gentle products and have been told not to apply heat, but I would love to just dry the front of my hair using a hairdryer. Can anyone advise me ob5ehst I should do?
First week if chemo over.... Georgie x
Hu . I remember that my hair felt a bit claggy - like I hadn’t washed the conditioner out properly. I was told not to put a colour on but not told to avoid heat particularly. I would have thought if you are using gentle products and drying it for the least time that you need to feel human (!) then you’ll be minimising any risk. I’d try and avoid using something like straighteners daily though.
Congrats on getting the first week over
Take care
