Hi all. I had a colon stent fitted on Tuesday. It’s now Sunday and I’m still suffering with diarrhoea. Is this normal? Do things ever go back to normal?

However a quick email to the surgeons secretary to raise your concerns would be reassuring and reasonable. Or if the ward has a phone number give them a ring as they might be able to inform you on how best to manage it . Thank you so much. Very useful information. I am not in the UK at the moment and the staff at the hospital where the procedure was carried out only have limited English. The treatment I received was top class but obtaining information post procedure was a little difficult!
