Hi
I’m still waitingfor my first COVID vaccine (I’m in Spain, a bit behind UK).
Just reading about the Astra-Zeneca scare which I understand is now dealt with and the vaccine deemed safe. But has anyone had it and had any side effects or has your doctor advised you NOt to have it even?
Thanks

Hi I’m not on any chemotherapy but I do know that the Covid vaccines are recommended for people under treatment.
I have had the Astra Xeneca vaccine and the only side effect I had was a headache 36 hours after. I’m 70 and two years out of radiotherapy
Hope that helps.

Hi . I had the Astra-Zeneca and just had a muggy head the next day for 24 hours. My husband had his yesterday and his arm is a little tender but that’s all. I’ve attached a link below off the Bowel Cancer UK site which might help?
